Called by many the Guardian of Secrets, Neral’droth is a god of knowledge and wisdom. Some say he knows all secrets, and his appearance is unfathomable for the minds of mere mortals. He was chosen for a god patron of the Magic Academy and many academies followed the example throughout Tirganoth Kingdom. He is one of the silent gods, and in history there has been almost non-registered seeing or intervention. The Only 2 known cases ended with visions of unknown towers with sparkling peaks between spiraling fractal flares, and a chaotic flood of knowledge of random facts going into the minds of the priest. Both of these cases made priests lose their sight and mind. To this day, there are discussions about the meaning of the visions.
Igdrodon is an ancient dragon deity, primarily revered by the inhabitants of the Dragon Isles. The dragon god is a patron of warriors, valuing strength and cunning on the battlefield. However, warriors are not the only ones who can count on his favor. Rulers and wealthy individuals concerned with their interests and governing with an iron hand are, in the eyes of Igdrodon, just as deserving of his blessings as the great warriors. Igdrodon’s followers treat other dragons with immense respect, believing they are the offspring of their deity.
Vesha is a guide of souls into the underworld, she helps the dead to cross the Misty Valley, which leads to the Gate of Eternity, the entrance to the afterworld. The Goddess of death has a lantern, which disperses misguiding mist in the valley and is always visible for each of the souls on their way to the gate. Vesha doesn’t have a set form, and matches its look depending on the person she is guiding, she usually takes on characteristics of old race, shows up as a woman, with its face hidden behind a hood or a veil. Even though she is the goddess of death, she is seen by mortals as a fair judge, which makes people pray to her for fair trials.
Fenrighar is the embodiment and defender of nature and animals. He can be incredibly gentle, like falling leaves, but also impetuous and violent, like a powerful storm that destroys everything in its path. Fenrighar is closely associated with the seasons and changes accordingly. He is the patron of the natural order, the primal force of nature, and the wisdom found in simple life in harmony with nature. Currently, there is a growing popularity and resurgence of Fenrighar as the primary god of the Tergans, who increasingly entrust their deceased ancestors to him, build shrines, and reintegrate his teachings back into their culture. Followers of Fenrighar are often found defending ancient forests and wild areas untouched by civilization. Legends also circulate that the most faithful of the god’s priests can transform into wild beasts to more effectively protect sacred places and serve as a symbol of their deity’s influence.
Az is a ruler of the sun, strength and justice, he is the most worshiped god by the humans of Tirganoth, however, he also has some believers among other races. Az stands in defense of anyone who shows honor and loyalty. He has a cape made out of night sky, gifted to him by goddess Aquelun and a fiery sword called Radaxul. It is said that Az lives in a Glass Spire, an enormous tower made out of white crystal, hidden in the clouds, from where he looks over the world and protects the sun’s light from an evil god from the deep called Vatros. The god of sun also has his trusted heavenly steed, Azerrion with beautiful fiery feathers and golden mask, which has a function of a messenger and Az will bid in the mortal world.
Vatros Supposedly, Vatros is imprisoned somewhere deep beneath the water’s surface in the darkest corners of the ocean. He once stood guard over the world, protecting it from the darkness, but eventually lost hope in stopping it and switched to its side. When other gods learned of his downfall, they decided to confine him in the depths. Vatros represents tyranny, abyss, and lack of hope, demanding sacrifices and unwavering devotion from his followers. His most loyal subjects are the Ar’nai, whom he transformed into the Children of Darkness (Ur’nai). They attack unsuspecting ships, taking their crews deep underwater, where only suffering awaits. Worshiping Vatros is prohibited in nearly every place in the world, yet that doesn’t deter illegal cults from bringing death and destruction wherever possible in exchange for blessings from the dark god. One of the largest such cults in Tirganoth is the Sabbath of the Drowned God, uniting sorcerers and witches.
Aquelun is the mother of all sea creatures and the goddess of the moon. The whole Ar’nai civilization is more or less ruled by their parents’ will, which tries to protect them from the world’s dangers. In the past Aquelun ruled the world’s waters along with her beloved Vatros, unfortunately with passing time he started to become more brutal, and darkness started to cover his soul. A fight broke out, Aquelun was helped by other gods, and together they managed to throw Vatros into the deepest part of the sea, where he was imprisoned. Aquelun holds a gift of seeing possible outcomes, because of her love for her sea children, she passed the gift to Ar’nai, so they can foresee potential threats. Despite her connection to Ar’nai, she still watches over other races, mostly by keeping their sea voyages safe.
